Whois Script

 

This free script called the "whois" gives you valuable information about domain names. It will also show you if the domain name you are interested in registering is available for sale.

 

 

Below is an attempt to see if the domain name "heythisnameisnttaken.com" is available for sale; and it is.

 

 

  1. First, unlock the "Whois" script from the Free Scripts section of the WebControl system. If you have forgotten how to do this, click here.
  2. Point your browser to http://yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/whois.cgi.
